24 private LDRP suites
Single-room maternity care at the new St. Elizabeth East is made possible through the region’s first LDRP (Labor, Deliver, Recovery, Postpartum) suites. This model of care means that all phases of the childbirth process happen in one, comfortable room. Unlike traditional or LDRonly rooms, LDRP suites eliminate the discomfort and disruption of changing rooms after childbirth.

Built for comfort
Each of our spacious new LDRP suites has been designed with the comforts of home in mind. Each private suite is rich with amenities, such as a digital TV entertainment system, wireless Internet access, refrigerator, private bath and a family area with sleeping accommodations for guests. Room service dining for moms and their guests is also available.

State-of-the-art
Although neatly tucked away when not in use, each LDRP suite is filled with the latest state-of-the-art medical equipment for moms and babies including the latest monitoring devices and in-room baby stations with radiant warmers. In the event of emergency, there is also comfort in knowing St. Elizabeth East is home to the region’s most experienced Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, meaning there is no safer place to have your baby.

Education and support
The Kathryn Weil Center for Education offers a wide variety of parent education classes. Our childbirth classes are offered in different formats and at multiple times to accommodate your busy schedule.
