The Expectant Parent's Tour is designed for couples who are planning on delivering at the St. Elizabeth Women's Center. The one hour tour is conducted by a child birth educator and covers:
- The Registration process
- What is an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) room and what are the advantages and features of the maternity suites
- A tour of St. Elizabeth's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- The Labor and Delivery process including support, alternatives, C-Sections, resources available and the DaVinci Surgical System
Expectant parents will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the tour. Tours are free and open to any expectant parent. This tour is recommended for couples who would like to see the Women's Center before their baby arrives to become more familiar with the delivery and recovery process.
