Our ultrasonography staff is certified by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
In an effort to reduce the number of places that you must go to receive your total medical care, Woman’s Clinic has included a full-service laboratory and ultrasound suite.
What is an ultrasound?
- It is a picture produced by soundwaves (sonogram).
- It is used to check the position and size of the baby.
- It also is used to check for any problems.
The ultrasonographer will direct the results to your physician, who will then discuss those results with you.
The Woman's Clinic provides one free DVD+RW of the fetus to all obstetric patients having a complete ultrasound scan after the 12th week of pregnancy. If you have more than one ultrasound and wish for those to be included on the DVD, please bring the original DVD you were given back to the clinic at the time of your additional ultrasound appointment.
